Shipping to Uruguay with europacco
In the heart of Montevideo's Ciudad Vieja there is a street called Buenos Aires, and right there stands the Teatro Solís, the country's oldest theatre. An 8 kg parcel of sheet music and stage supplies ships with this address:
Teatro SolísBuenos Aires 678
11000 Montevideo
URUGUAY
Uruguayan postal codes have five digits and always belong in the address. A local habit worth knowing: Uruguayans often pinpoint a place by its street corner, for example "Buenos Aires esquina Bartolomé Mitre". For the shipment, street and number are enough, and you can add the esquina as a helpful reference for delivery.

Shipping time to Uruguay
Between pickup in Italy and delivery in Uruguay lie 7 to 10 working days. In January the country goes on holiday, and between late January and early March the longest carnival in the world slows down even the offices of Montevideo. If your parcel has to arrive by a fixed date, plan ahead during that period.

Yes, coverage includes all 19 departments of the country, from the agricultural heartland to the Atlantic coast. For towns in the interior, allow one or two days more than for the capital.
Can I ship wine to Uruguay?
Uruguay takes wine seriously, Tannat is the national grape, and Italian bottles make an appreciated gift. Glass is fragile, though: contact our customer service first, and together we will sort out the packaging and the safest solution.
When should I ship Christmas gifts to Uruguay?
Place your order by early December. Uruguayan Christmas falls in the middle of the southern summer, volumes rise, and the first holiday departures add to the rush. With 7-10 working days of transit, shipping early is the safe choice.
