From Italy to Peru, from the coast of Lima to the Andes
Shipments to Peru arrive in 8-14 working days. The window is wider than for other South American countries because the destinations differ greatly: Lima and the coast are reached sooner, while the Andean cities and the Amazon call for more patience. Nearly one in three Peruvians lives in the capital, and that is where most deliveries go. Pickup anywhere in Italy is included in the price, and every shipment travels with its own tracking code. Our best reference: more than 12,000 Trustpilot reviews with an average of 4.7 out of 5.

Shipping to Peru with europacco
An example helps to navigate the districts of Lima. A 5 kg parcel of books for the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú ships to this address:
Pontificia Universidad Católica del PerúAv. Universitaria 1801
San Miguel, Lima 15088
PERU
The district, here San Miguel, is an integral part of every address in the capital. The modern postal code has five digits, but many Peruvians still use the old form with the district number, such as Lima 32: couriers accept both. Ask the recipient which version they know and copy it into the order form.

Shipments heading for Peru often carry travellers' excess baggage, the suitcases of people returning after a stay in Italy, and samples for businesses.
Shipping time to Peru
Allow 8 to 14 working days. Peruvian customs, SUNAT, checks international shipments regularly, and at the end of July the Fiestas Patrias bring the country to a standstill for several days. For destinations beyond the Andes or in the rainforest, the domestic leg weighs more on the total than the intercontinental flight.
Questions and answers about shipping to Peru
Do you deliver to Cusco, Arequipa and the rainforest?
Yes, the service covers the entire Peruvian territory, from Trujillo on the coast to Iquitos, which cannot even be reached by road. The price stays the same, while transit to the Andean and Amazon regions takes a few days longer.
Can I ship excess baggage to Peru?
Yes, and it often costs less than the airlines' surcharge. Each package can weigh up to 40 kg, with a maximum of 190 cm as the sum of the three sides. Use a sturdy cardboard box instead of the suitcase, or wrap the suitcase itself.
What happens if SUNAT holds my parcel?
A customs check is a normal step, not a problem. The recipient may be contacted to confirm the contents or value of the shipment. A precise declaration when ordering keeps these waits to a minimum.
Customs information for Peru
Shipments to Peru require customs clearance and are subject to import duties and taxes. europacco.com prepares the export documents, while the recipient must cooperate with the local customs office for the import process.
Required documents: commercial or proforma invoice, declaration of free export, and a copy of the sender’s ID. Accurate documentation speeds up clearance and helps prevent the shipment from being held.
Duties in Peru depend on the declared value and the type of goods. To learn more about how to correctly complete customs documents and specific national rules, see our customs information guide.
